jfc1, I'm referring to the ducati (in both 800 and 1000cc forms) since their takeover at the end of 2009 to the end of 2012, not just the last few months! There are numerous first hand stories of the riders saying their bikes changed little between 800 and 1000 other than for torque effect. Rossi has said multiple times the bike he finished with was 'no different' (his words not mine) and there's no doubt he was referring to the handling not the power which we all know was more than enough anyway. So far all we've seen is that you could throw a small blanket over Nick, Dovi and Rossi judging by their coparative performance on the duc and to fair, Dovi hasn't had much of a run yet has he?
