Actually RAAFrebel, no need for books mate, trust me! JB has worked with the both HRC and Yamaha, the first recognized as the most innovative and capable and Yam recognised even by its own ex-champions as having the sweetest and most capable bike in the series for decades. If he's so good, when given the reigns, how did the ducati go over a full 2 years? Even with every facet of what made the M1 good etched into his brain, he could NOT make the red bike quicker. Was it Rossi or the bike... well Stoner was light years faster, so the bike was certainly capable and it's almost impossible for me to quantify that the Aussie was trying that much harder than the rest. To many, it has EVERYTHING to do with the fact VR failed to push to the limit, how else do you advance at this level in sport!
