@ Dave/Sam/whatever "1. a contender on a good bike in 05 - DIDNT WIN THE WC 2. still accidents waiting to happen - ASSUMPTIONS 3. different era, rossi @ peak & STILL SAME WC V JLO WHILE ONE MORE THAN CS (HEAD TO HEAD TO HEAD) I know which of your respective posts is a joke...." 1 Rossi also lost his first 250 season on a factory bike, the difference is he had the luxury of being able to just hang around until he won the title. 2 What? 3 No Rossi is equal with Stoner on titles head to head genius, with Stoner ahead on virtually all measurable statistics like wins, podiums, points etc despite being on inferior machinetry for most of the time.
