Hemmy, just shows how difficult it is to make comparisons, so many things to factor in. With your point on Nicky on the M1. I have a lot of time for Nicky, underrated rider, and a decent bloke. I noticed that Nicky nearly always put in just the one fast lap in qually. With Rossi, either he couldn't or didn't bother, but he often showed better race pace in practice.. It goes some way toward explaining the race day performance differences. Whatever, Nicky deserves a better bike than he has at the moment. His stats would have shown to be better if he had been born in Spain too. I feel for him having to ride a Honda that was built around Dani??
