My comment wasn’t meant to disparage the other riders as much as it was meant to separate the top 4 from the rest. Crutchlow and Dovi rode very well last year, and I think they are both good riders. The venue is about entertainment and money just as much as it’s about skill and racecraft. You could put all of those riders on the exact same spec bike and the skilled will still emerge victorious. Sometimes people have 90 percent, but are missing that very vital 10 percent.

You’re missing my point. It’s not about lap times as much as it is about the capability of the riders. Spies is no Rossi, and never will be a Rossi. Why you are attempting to put them on the same playing field is beyond me. Spies isn't any of the top 4! I’ll say it again, let us revisit this conversation mid-season. Until then, the statements that you spew as fact are mere supposition just like everything else that we "predict".
