If Rossi can't ride it, nobody can. I chuckle when the Aussies come out of the woodwork claiming Stoner could win on THIS bike. Wouldnt happen. Stoner caught lightning-in-a-bottle with the 2007 Duc - a bike with awesome speed matched perfectly to Bridgestones. It was the best bike in the paddock. He took the bike massively backwards since then, or, more preceisely, Ducati took the bike backwards by not listening to their rider. Yamaha and Honda caught up and passed Ducati by a mile, and Stoner bailed. Don't blame him. Dovi, Hayden and Spies, 3 superb riders, will be battling with the CRTs while Rossi wins an 11th championship. Stoner quit while he was ahead, and, gifted the Duc in 07 and the Honda in 2011, history will judge him one of the fastest but also the luckiest riders ever.
