The talk about improving with time and being more adapted to the bike and getting a better set-up is total rubbish. These guys CAN get to the limit of the bike in the first 5 laps (Stoner did it in 2 laps, but that doesn't mean he is better than the others, except in these respect and riding the Ducati and racing at P.I - still, he was worse than the others in many other departments)...
Getting back to the point: delivering fastest laps takes these guys some 5 laps, getting a good set-up takes them one morning and adjusting a new bike takes them one whole day, tops. These guys know what they are doing, get it? Adapting to new bike is stuff for amateurs like us...
