to be fair to Rossi, the bike hes on isn't the best thing out there, and its very particular in how it needs to be ridden. Even B.Smith says that the bike demands a certain kind of 'style.' This style is what broke Spies last year and limited the potential of Dovizioso. Rossi also a late braker will find this bike hard to tackle, unless he learns how to ride like Lorenzo. Rossi, Marquez and I believe Cal both went out in the last few minutes and set their best laps to catch better finishing positions, while Dani and Jorge left early.
Now that Rossi has Jorge's bike, with Jorge's front tire, hes going to find it difficult to compete with him, Cal, Dani and maybe Marquez. Cal will have problems keeping pace with the factory bikes, as all satellite bikes do, Honda I feel have much more potential, but either through the front tire or chatter, or some other reason, they are not showing their true potential.
