@ TrueFan....Excellent post by you even though you had to put in your usual pop at Rossi. The 80% thing was true at the time that it was said, but it's fun to bring it out occasionally even though it's history. Electronic aids have removed most of the riders skills anyway. Casey turned his down so that he could slide and steer with the rear. It was the only way he could win on the Ducati. When they 'improved' the Electronics It strangled Stoner's exceptional skill. Also Rossi and JB said that their requests never went up the food chain to the right people. I'm guessing that Gobby fingered Fillipo as the bottleneck. Agree with you, bloody shame.
