You are both right and wrong... Yes, a bigger grip will lead to good fights, but that doesn't mean we'll see them. How many times did we even SEE the CRT's last year? Yeah, very few. We hardly saw the Ducati's or the satellite Hondas once they fell out of the top 5/6.
The front still had few big BATTLES.
I think people are realistic enough, they just hope MotoGP can get back to where it was with MANUFACTURERS running PROTOTYPES and maybe a few competitive PRIVATEERS instead of a whole gang of second tier competition.
