Wrong to think any person who follows this sport will ever attach a "stigma" to Rossi's time with Ducati. Every single rider who threw a leg over that bike sufferded, not just Rossi. Even the great Casey Stoner achieved less and less and less until he finally jumped ship. It would have been great to see Rossi turn Ducati's fortunes around but it's not a surprise to any educated observer to see the bike is still a pile o crap.
