These figures are entirely unofficial!! They really mean not a lot in real terms. ALL the riders could be posting times that are not what the acheived or they could be posting times that are way better than they acheived we really don't know! But thinking about what Rossi in particular has done in the past it would not surprise me to find that this time is not totally representative of what he may be able to acheive, he could be playing games. Before you all start the slag fest I said he could be, but think about it he has been away from a good bike for two years he may not want his rivals to know what he has in the tank until the first race! Nothing deflates an opponent more than getting something from left field they were not expecting. I will wait until the first race has finished before making any conclusion as to what Rossi or indeed Marquez will do in the season as a whole.
