Well, so far its pretty much as I thought it'd be with DP, JL & VR, but MM's pace I didn't expect to be so high.
Like others though, its going to be the racing that counts, and staying on board at the limit is some the others have had time to learn, while MM's mecurial pace and attacking style might (might) mean he attacks the scenery instead of taking the flag (at least to start with).
VR? Well, too early to say, but so far it looks like the 1s (av) off the pace on a Duke might have been 0.5s the bike, and 0.5s VR? I say this simply as (so far) VR is consistently 0.5s off JL on the Yam. With the pace of the Repsols, then (if all stay on) form so far says podiums are out of reach for VR. We shall see if race day changes the status quo at Qatar!
