The only surprise in the list really is that MM is quite as fast as he is - the rest you could pretty much pick in this sort of order at the end of the 2012 season IMO.
Agree with 'Me' above in that lumping them all together is a con job. MotoGP is (even if you ignore the political 'fixing') at best a 3-tier format (kinda like le Mans racing, where open-class prototype rockets share the same track-time with tin-top sports cars, except there's no expectation or pretence that a lower-class vehicle is going to take an overall 'W' in Le Mans stuff).
Can't agree with 'Grendlehop'. Barring incident then (just like every season since '06) no-one not on a full-factory bike (now only an HRC or Yam) has a prayer of a Win. Podiums though are possible for Tier 2 guys with a bit of good fortune.
