@ Roman I didn't expect you to agree. My guess is that you are the perfect MotoGP Fan as far as the corporations and marketing men are concerned. MotoGP now is just a high-octane variation of a Reality TV show, like a high-speed American Idol or X Factor. Everything that CAN be controlled and scripted, and edited to feed the media and the fans IS. And fans lap it up without a thought, and then defend it. Priceless. They cannot control the effort a racer puts in, but they have a great many other tools to control just how competitive he is, from the set-up and programming of the bike's electronics and many, many other things away from the track. Of course Cal and Co TRY - that's not the same as having a fully competitive package to race with now is it? But don't worry, 'your' rider Vale HAS a Factory bike and the tools to win (which IMO none of the top 4 could do on a Satellite bike, despite their obvious talent).
