@ 99 & Realist Exactly! Which is why I bash on that MGP has only 4 racers WITH the machinery to win, so the rest are just unwilling grid-fillers, trying hard to prove themselves enough to get 1 of only 4 truly competitive rides. Which means that anyone in the same series riding anything else MIGHT have everything in his personal armoury of skills to be as competitive as JL, VR, DP & MM, but (whoever he is), he'll still be unable to properly challenge due to the fact that he's not in the right team (i.e. a Factory HRC or Yamaha). I've said it before, but (for example) Pol Espagaro (who got a CRT home in 5th lets remember) maybe (just MAYBE) has what it takes to compete with these guys. But he (and we) will be denied the opportunity of testing the theory due to the huge machinery disparity in MGP.
