Keep on swallowing the corporate party line Roman - don't worry yourself about actually looking at what all the physical evidence screams if you care to look a bit closer and consider what it really means.
I know you're big Rossi fan, so here's a little something for you to consider..... Rossi liked to say way back it was 80% rider, 20% bike. Even if he was right, with the current tech & rider aids those figures HAVE shifted far the other way to the bike (just like Honda always wanted).
Now... if the bikes now undermine the influence of talent on the result (its fair to say they might), then (if he's the best as you say) your hero Rossi might actually win a hell of a lot more races if the bikes tech was reduced, so skill was THE thing? If the Tech didn't favour the young guns faith and bravery over basic rider talent & skill (i.e the electronics weren't allowed to manage it all), do you think Rossi (as well as others) would have a better chance?
