Its a fair question - can we call MGP a 'World Championship', when there are (at best , it might be just 2 if Honda have the edge over Yam) only 4 racers GENUINELY in the same WC (& those are 3 Spaniards & 1 Italian)?
That's a bit like going to Africa and saying you saw 4 of the Big Game animals on Safari, when you actually saw 3 Giraffes and 1 Elephant!
Sorry - but (IMO) MotoGP does not have the strength-in-depth through the field (due to the monopoly HRC & Yam have been allowed by Dorna) to qualify as any kind of series at all, let alone a 'World Championship'.
The winner of this seasons WSBK WC will have had much tougher and greater numbers of serious competition over the season, making the WSBK WC to be MUCH more worthy than the MotoGP WC.
