I would imagine that all the motivation that Rossi needs is be the best ever Italian. It must grate a bit that, despite his achievements, he is still considered 2nd to Ago. An unfair comparison because a good part of Ago's success was gained in the now defunct 350cc class. Whether this will translate into wins and Titles remains to be seen. Last year the wins were spread about and it was second places that earned the Championship. That could happen again this year. In 2006 Rossi got more wins than Nicky, but Nicky got the Title. This could be a good year for us punters.
