People have short memories. The Ducati's being 0.8 secs off the best time here in Jerez means sqaut all. This is no prove of any tangible process in the slightest. Last year Hayden was "only" 1 second of pole in similar conditions, and then in the race he ran as high as 3rd six laps into the race again in similar conditions. In the end he still ended up half a minute behind the race winner Stoner. So the Ducati's have't done anything here that they weren't capable of last year. Let them consistenlty be 0.5 from the leaders at all types of tracks and not just the short one's, and then we can start to talking about progress....
