Joeyz is right. Cal has done nothing so far that makes Yamaha think that they must have Cal on factory machinery. He is a fast qualifier, but that's it. He only got a quarter of Dovi's podiums last year and finished 60 points behind him. That isn't particularly impressive. The difference between the satellite and factory spec is nowhere near the difference that people pretend it is. Ask Spies or Dovizioso. Spies had the same amount of points on the satellite Yam in 2010 as he did on the factory one in 2011. And this year on the factory bike was his worst season. And Dovizioso results on the factory Honda and the sattelite Yam were virtually indistinguishable. Cal on a factory bike still wouldn't consistently beat the aliens. Yamaha no this, and that is why they aint giving him a factory bike.
