sorry for my phrasing but i call BS. that's a lie. and quite frankly i'm tired of people continuing to tell it. this same excuse is being used for races inside europe as well. it's sickening.
it's not that the average person can't afford an entry fee, it's that the average person lacks discipline to SAVE for their entry fee.
everybody knows a year in advance when their favorite round is going to happen. qatar is ALWAYS the season opener, laguna is ALWAYS mid july, valencia ALWAYS draws the curtain, etc. other than the odd volcano/tsunami, the schedule rarely alters.
how many time have i said this...? how many...? if in a year's time a person can't save the few hundred quid (in total) it takes to comfortably attend any race...? ffs you need to get interested in something else...? MotoGP is not for you.
