re: "It is not, though, the poor financial state of Europe that should motivate a shake up but much rather the fact that if the Sport is said to be a world competition then it must be situated world wide." and it is... we race in the states, moscow, india, and dip down under to the giant isle of aussie-stralia. in the past we've rode the nearby ferris wheel and wheelied the crest at sportsland, picked sand out our a$$cracks at losail (in the daytime!), rented saabs and ate meatballs in sweden, and wore oxygen masks high atop mt. kylami, so the criteria of "WORL' CHAMPEEN" has been (and is being) met. so rather than saying "it should be situated world wide" or any other nonsense like that, what you really should be saying is you haven't been watching, and just showed up to the party.
