One can’t question MotoGP’s WC status without also questioning Moto 2/3’s status. After all, they race on almost all of the same tracks minus a few. I think the crux of the issue revolves around how many riders are actually capable of winning (...I’ll still stick to my 4-6 range of potential wins/podiums). The same applies to Moto 2/3 and WSBK. The top 4-6 guys are always there, and then there’s the best of the rest. I think that Moto 2/3 comes across as more exciting because there are more bikes on the grid and the top guys are closer, so they mix it up a bit more than the premier class.
