I dont think anyone can blame Rossi for returning to a more comfortable motorcycle that suits his style,The problem is Rossi was and still is Saying it was all Ducatis problem why he wasnt fast and they were not making changes fast enough for him..which is somewhat true but Rossi and co were grasping at straws and Ducati doesnt have the Resources Honda or Yamaha have..4 different spec aluminum frames,6-7 different swingarm configurations and no improvement, the cost alone is staggering for these parts. This is why Audi have put the brakes on spending until they figure out which way to go(New bike for Mugello)
We cant compare Stoner to Rossi on the Ducati, its obvious KC is a better RIDER mabey not a better RACER then Vale..but if you look at Haydens results you'll see a steep decline once they started basing changes on Valentinos recamendations in 2011-2012.
