It doesn't look too bad. I prefer the traditional 1 hour quali but this change needs to be made for safety. Comparing it to F1 is unfair, F1 changed for the sake of entertainment. It went from a 1 hour session to a WSBK (old style) superpole, to a knockout. MotoGP qualifying (sorry to say) has been more exciting that the races a lot of the time but has become dangerous with the CRTs circulating.
