what a load of tosh is spoken here, It was clear to anyone who rides a bike on track (obviously alot who do not even ride) or has watched racing and understood it for more than 5 minutes that top speed is more than just through the traps. The honda's advantage is out of the turn they put the power down and fly, the yams (factory) have more top end (at this track) but do not get their as fast. The yam turns in rails and Cal was up the @ss of the honda's but was losing it all (the ground he had made) down the straight only to repeat the next lap, happens time and time again at this track (e.g.rossi vs stoner 2007). Cal rode a great race but I am sure the redmist came down a little into turn one and that cost him a chance at a podium at the end. His bike is NOT the same as Jlo and Rossi but it is close, agree that he needs to stop bringing it up as it would be like Dani and MM saying that there bike cannot turn or hold a line like the Yam, you have to ride to the bikes ability's, Cal does
