Nicky knows you can't burn the tires to get ahead of everyone because in the end, you will fade faster than everyone else. Let's also add that we have midgets on Hondas (Marquez and Pedrobot) so that gives the Factory Hondas a clear advantage in speed and accelleration. I'm not sure what Ducati is going to do (I personally do not like their bikes but meh) but they clearly are still behind Honda and Yamaha in how you build a winning bike. I feel bad for Nicky and Dovi. I suspect Nicky will be in WSBK next year (better racing anyway) and Crutchslow will take his place. It's a shame, Honda should have kept Nicky because until the diminutive Aussie raced on a Repsol, Hayden was the last winner on a Repsol Honda.
