No it isn't.
When Rossi needed to go flat out he got down to his qualifying pace, 1:55.7.
Lorenzo's qualifying pace was 1:54.7. I have no doubt that Lorenzo could have banged out low 1:55 high 1:54s throughout the second half of the race if it were necessary.
I mean Lorenzo did a 1:55.5 on full tanks on lap 2!
He was in a totally different class to all of the riders, including Rossi, when it comes to race pace in Qatar.
