@slider - so you cant assume lorenzo could have matched it in the race
1:54.7 would have been difficult to match but high 1:54s low 1:55s would have been more than enough and easily within the compass of Lorenzo yesterday.
I have never seen anyone look so relaxed on a bike going that fast. He was on rails, nowhere near the limit. The only danger he faced was making an error due to boredom.
His pursuers looked like orangutans crawling all over their bikes straining to find an extra tenth somewhere.
