back in the day all you needed was little skill and balls the size of coconuts to ride a 500cc two stroke in motogp, and have a good mechanic that could tune a set of carbs... now your need a team of software engineers with a computer science degrees... some say that's why Marquez was so much faster last year, they had tuned their ecu way better then the rest, considering all those moto2 motors were saposed to be identical he blew by the others down the straight like they were still on 250's... change is coming, next we will see Rev limits and who knows what after that... curious how the fuel (penalty) rule will play out considering rossi ran outa gas less then 1/2 km after the race... consider how that would of played out had he ran out during the last lap...
