@Claes- I agree with you. Even Nicky Hayden has more Repsol Honda championships than Dani. @rabcati- “Tetley. If they wanted 2 factory bikes ahead then last year Cal would have had to park his ride every race while Spies caught up lol. “ Good point- maybe that’s one of the reasons why they are doing it differently this year. Last year they relied too much on their second rider and it let them down. This year a Yam 1-2-3 is a real possibility. @Dave- “@Tetley, are suggesting that Cal let vale through in this race or are you simply predicting that he will be or has been given this directive as a general?“ Ducati control a First and a Junior team with 4 riders on works bikes. Honda give satellite riders works bikes and will expect benefits from that arrangement. T3 are highly dependant on Yamaha and I’m sure Cal has been made aware that he shouldn’t get in the way when a Yamaha works rider is on a charge. Cal will not want to upset his paymasters as they control his future.
