@gally haha, so consistenty and significantly out performing his team mate is less than mediocre? Beating good riders who are on better machinery is less than mediocre? The reality is no one knows for sure how he will do in MotoGP but its only sporting to give the guy a chance before you say he's not up to it. We've already got a good British rider in the series to get the audiences in. Plus its a pretty stupid businessman that thinks any old British rider will do to draw a British crowd. Do you really think more people would turn up to watch a British rider do badly every other weekend? And is the Tech3 team really a feeder team? Especially now there is no more rookie rule. Before Spies who was the last guy to go Tech3 to Factory Yam? and how many before that?
