@billybobmarysue I'd forgotten about the NR, but you're right, the NR had the single sided swing arm, pipes under the seat, and twin headlights before the 916. Somehow, the NR still managed to look ugly though - it looked like a touring bike with a single seat, too fat and too much plastic. The 916 looked the business. Chalk and cheese. I don't remember a Ducati MotoGP bike breaking down. They "just" have some handling issues.
