The only rule there should be is a weight limit and a engine size limit. then, you should be free to do what every it takes to win. This is the pinicle of motorcycle racing , and the factories and teams should be allowed to do what ever they can do to win. It even gives the little teams a chance. Look at the Britton bike. Developed by 1 man and unbeatable. Shame the man passed on, other wise he would be here in Moto gp too! Dorna is ruining this sport. Just a little off toplic, Dorna should have paid for all the teams to test at circut of america, they have heaps of money. Open the gates to the public for testing and you would get people like me paying to go watch.
