Sigh! Cal’s T3 bike was last updated in late 2012. Rossi and Lorenzo are using last year’s chassis. Soooo? FACTORY INVOLVEMENT is NOT what we’re discussing here, so stop adding extraneous tidbits of irrelevant information. I've said many, many times during this discussion that Cal's bike is CURRENTLY pretty damn close to a Factory M1 in terms of kit. Later in the year that won't be the case because the Works bikes will have many updates (like the chassis they tested, but won't implement until later in the season). Herve was even quoted last year as saying (..in response to "Do you think that the gap between the top of the podium and you guys is down to machinery?") that despite not having the exact same bike as the Works team, their problem is the riding. He, as in Herve Poncharal, didn't feel like machinery was the problem.
