@ Paddles. I agree, & have said this when supporting the CRT thing several times. CRT's are slagged cos they aren't as fast as a factory bike - so 'fans' want more factory bikes and tech - even though no other Factory will enter, and that the economy and costs mean even Yamaha are struggling. So this CAN'T happen anyway. HRC/Yam have now 'developed' the MotoGP bike into a dead-end - employing tech like pneumatic valves & carbon brakes that will NEVER make it to Production. MotoGP needs genuine racing & competition, so we need to get rid of the really expensive and pointless stuff that are ONLY of use on a fixed known Lap (see my earlier post). Then we can get new teams & sponsors keen to enter a MGP series where they have a real chance to compete on a level playing field.
