@ Lad. You're the smart kid, so you tell me....
2 bikes hits the same top speed of (say) 331kmh, on a straight of (say) 1km. But one (A) gets to it's top speed (say) 250 metres before the other one (B).
Assume that the braking points are the same (differences at this level will be important, but the differences won't be big ones, so for the sake of simplicity we'll leave this bit out for now, cos its not relevant to the point I'm trying to get you to accept).
Which bike gets along the straight in the least amount of elapsed time (i.e. fastest) - Bike A, or bike B?
If your answer is B, then I suggest you send your Msc back, and start asking 'do you want fries with that'?
