If Dorna DO introduce a rev-limit that renders pneumatic valves unnecessary (they are uber-expensive for not much in the way of a power gain or faster lap-time - CRT's and WSBK prove that beyond reasonable doubt), then HRC will have a ready-developed alternative in the 'customer' bikes' motor, along with heaps of set-up data.
Which would mean that HRC get a data and development advantage that no other Mfr or Team could hope to have, meaning that HRC have the best chance for success in MGP.
They can use their chequebook to sidestep any attempts to take the chequebook out of the equation and level the playing field. Or am I just a cynic? Time will tell.
