Bike or or rider??........Ducati have recently stated their rational on their WSBK bike (panigale)
They are going with a frameless design simply because it allows them to get under the minimum weight restriction. They admit that their single sided swing arm is a lot heavier than twin sided, but they use it because they like it's looks?!!??!
Couple the above with the fact that they don't take criticism well, I think Audi have their work cut out.
To resolve the MotoGP front end problems requires new crankcases, I hope they get them in July.
