Hmm - Marquez was faster than Dani, and he put in a lot of very fast consistent lappery - Jules called it Doohan-esque - trying to demoralise and bury the opposition before the lights even go out. MM is cocky and arrogant enough (not a pop - a racer has to have massive self-belief and an ego) to want to do just that in his 2nd race IMO. I've not warmed to MM as a personality, and he is the golden child, but no doubt he has some huge, huge talent. Stoner often looked like a crash that didn't happen, and MM looks the same. If he stays on it (& so far he has mostly) then he is a massive force to be reckoned with. Actually, MM's style where his backside is near on the floor climbing off reminds me of Elias' extreme style in his GP heyday - just even more extreme (& faster!).
