I can’t say for certain that a new Trellis is the answer but is certainly seems that as soon as Ducati stepped away from their tried and true race winning trellis it all went to hell in a hand basket for them. Though I had high hopes to see them stick with (and perfect) the Carbon Chassis. Alas it was never fully sorted and the outgoing regime scrapped it and decided to try Aluminum since it was working for the Japanese bikes. Everyone is saying that the understeer is the primary cause of the problems. You can see the Ducati’s trying to unweight the front in any kind of “on throttle” cornering situation even on TV. The Hondas and Yamahas seem to have the squat figured out, and I would even go so far as to say the Aprilia guys are not far behind, based on Espargaro’s recent outings. Come on Gobmeyer it is time to give these guys a bike to race with!
