@ you I don't really bother with what his fans say. The difference, as I see it, is that they will predict future successes for him, I prefer to wait and see. The point that I was trying to make, poorly it seems, was Rossi and his team have spent 2 years trying to dial in an untuneable Ducati. They are now in the process of adapting the Yamaha to Rossi's riding style. Cota is a new track so no data from previous years, and Jorge's team are doing a better job so far, albeit with 2 years head start. Rossi had a bad weekend but his fastest lap on a poorly handling bike (they went too far with a setting) and worn tyres (lap 13) was only a couple of tenths or so off of Lorenzo's set on lap 3.
