I'm always amused at the way many people on Crash write off NASCAR. I'm old enough that the first race I ever attended was to watch Mike Hailwood at Aberdare Park in1958 so maybe I've picked up a thing or two over the years. I watch a wide variety of motorsports including NASCAR, WSBK, MotoGP and moto-cross and those of you who think NASCAR is easy need to get yourselves to a race and find out how impressive it is and how difficult it is to set up a car and deal with changing track conditions over the course of a long race. Some real racing fans get this but so many don't have a clue how hard it is to be successful in ANY top level form of racing. The commitment required is way beyond anything most can imagine. If you should decide to attend a NASCAR race you will be amazed at how accessible the drivers are and how much value you get for your buck (or Pound or Euro or whatever) I'm a long time Rossi fan but love the skill level of ALL the riders and I'm truly impressed at Marquez.
