From most of the comments it's clear that there are just not enough factory rides for all the good riders in MotoGP. The goal for Dorna and the FIM should be not to level the field so much as enlarge it to contain more competitive manufacturer rides. Not easy for sure but if MotoGP is to mantain itself, let alone grow, this is a necessary goal. It's apparent that Dorna have the continuing support of Bridgestone, which should help.
