In th UK we are already compelled by law to pay for a TV licence, essentially to fund the BBC but also giving us the 'free to air' channels, what's that now £150 pa?. We then pay an additional sum to a satellite or cable provider to get the coverage of the things that don't get shown or get poor coverage on the BBC - Eurosport comes as part of a package bought from those providers and gives by far the best coverage of bike sport. For a basc ackage that cots what, another £20/£30 per month? BT Vision? Not a clue what that is even but if its anything lik BT's general phone/internet service forget it, I gave up on them years ago, similar problems with Sky, now with Virgin cable which is almost totally reliable. Pay yet more to Dorna for Motogp subsciription? Not a prayer! Watch dodgy feed live torrents on my laptop? No thanks, I'm kinda accustomed to watching on a big flat screen in HD. The lunatics really have taken over the asylum.......what the f*ck are they thinking? Oh yeah, $$$$$$$$
