Cal is a Tech3 rider and gets what that entails. I think that if (a big if) he can continually finish in front of Rossi he may get updates to try to take points away from the Repsol boys. If I were Yamaha I would wait till the summer break and decide if I want Cal riding over his head on a machine that can mix it up with the Honda's. He has to be a team player and stay away from Jorge which is another big risk for them. I think he's improved a great deal this year but lets not assume he would take it to Jorge if he had the #99 machine. The last few tenths are the hardest. Just ask the other factory M1 rider.
