If coverage is to be moving from BBC to BT then BBC would be letting us viewers down, just as the recent ratings were at their best. It would be short sighted of Dorna in letting it go to an obscure channel such as BT. Where are the new MotoGP viewers going to come from if it's not on a freely available channel? Whatever the various opinions about BBC commentary, MotoGP has the biggest audience potential with the BBC. Can’t be good for MotoGPs sponsors either. Dorna must be banking on some of the existing viewers getting MotoGP internet subscriptions at 100 euros a pop.
Online publications and magazines don't appear to be sticking up for the average viewer. Ironic because as interest dwindles it will be those publications losing audience too. Maybe they're counting on BT placing adverts with them.
