I am not surprised and not because I don't "rate" Cal or think Pol particularly deserves it but because its a numbers game.... ....How many current riders in Moto3 and Moto2 combined that are looking to step up to MotoGP? ....How many MotoGP seats are up for grabs in any given year? Gone are the days when riders specialized in the 125's or the 250's only, now, they all want to ride in MotoGP and in a factory team. ....A lot into a little just don't fit and MotoGP factory teams get to simply turn them over until they strike a MM. Like I said, not surprising.
