You are both very correct in what you say. The big difference to our sport and F1 is the FIA IS active and in control they have real engineers in place unlike the FIM and DORNA.
F1, Honda is coming back in yr 15 if you believe the reports and in F1 regs for the engines are tight and manufacturers must build engines of the FIA design not their own and a single ECU box no traction control has been in place for 4 to 5 years already. I ask why do Honda play in those rules well that's easy to understand, the japanese are in control of our sport and only will fill it full of tech stuff to benefit themselves as long as the rules allow them too. F1 all 18000rpm and in Motogp factories control what you get for RPM it's BS..
